About Lincoln

Looking for the missing 'Linc' in your family? Lincoln (aka Linc) is an adorably normal 11-lb. 3-year-old rat terrier mix, who is looking forward to the day when he can once again settle down for the long term. Before coming to New Rattitude, he lived with a person and two other dogs, but the family was split up when his person had to go into hospice care. Linc hates being alone at home, so he should live with at least one other dog for company if no human is there, but having a human at home most of the day would be a great bonus. Linc does great on a leash, but he prefers to exercise his olfactory senses more than his legs and usually turns a brief outing into a 'sniffari' rather than a walk. If you take him on a longer walk, however, he'll eventually settle in and walk like he means it. Linc is house-trained and does well on a schedule. He easily eats in the company of another dog without resource guarding, and he is happy to share his toys, beds, and people.
