About OPHELIA

Ophelia is an extremely sweet and intelligent pup who loves to interact with and be affectionate towards her humans. She requires a fair amount of exercise as well as mental stimulation to be at her happiest. She has completed an off-leash training course designed to alleviate her anxiety and improve her ability to follow commands. Ophelia has a tendency to be standoffish towards other dogs, and is incompatible with cats. She loves all humans, including children. Ophelia is 4.5 yrs old, housebroken, crate trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is seeking her forever home and will lovingly reward owners who have the time and attention to devote to her. The family needs to rehome her because their 1YO toddler is afraid of her. The family rescued Ophelia about a year before the baby was born. She has never been aggressive towards the toddler, but she playfully nips at him in an effort to direct our attention away from him and back to her, we feel she would do well with children 12 and older. As a result, she spends most of her waking hours in a crate, and is receiving an insufficient amount of attention and exercise.
