Location: Vicksburg, Mississippi Age/DOB: 12/10/2016 Hey ladies and gents. I'm Cornelius Cornlashes, or Corn to my friends. Aside from my big, happy, doofus personality (as if that isn't enough), I want to take a moment and list for you some other information you might be interested in knowing. 1.When I look in the mirror, I see a big fellow, but in my mind I'm just average size. And I love human contact, so I'll play lap-dog given the opportunity. I'm a very affectionate guy. I love to cuddle and will insist that you give me love. 2. I'm somewhat dominant - or large-and-in-charge - and I can be hard headed sometimes but not aggressively. In my previous home I had some guarding issues but with my foster home, I have a very strong leader who helps me to make better choices. I do better around smaller dogs that I can be the boss of. And I don't mind cats - I was raised with two. 3. Training skills? Yep. I'm leash trained but I get very excited when I see the leash coming and I know we are going on a walk. My energy starts out high on the walk, but like an older fella, I start to tire out pretty quickly. I am crate trained, potty trained, ride fine in the car, and do well in my home when left outside of my crate. 4. I can be a little scared around little humans, so I need a home with just grown-up people to share my charms with. When I'm out in public and on a leash I have done ok with children approaching me but those are under controlled and supervised situations. 5. I can be high energy but can also be fairly mellow. I'll mirror your energy - you want to be mellow? I'll be mellow. You want to play? I can do that, too. 6. I'm ALMOST embarrassed to admit how much I love my tennis balls. I LOVE THEM! And I even sleep with them. And I love, love, love pig ears!
