About Rosie

Location: Noti, Oregon Age/DOB: 5 1/2 years old, 03/2017 (estimate) Rosie is a delicate flower in name alone. She is a perfect cross-eyed goof-ball, chewing on her paw and leaning on you with her face in yours. Sounds adorable, huh? Other facts about this goof-ball: She has an average energy level. She's happy to be lazy on the couch but not too lazy to gallop when on our off-leash walks. She is a pretty good listener once it has been established that you are the boss. She will and does test boundaries but if you remain firm, she submits. Rosie is a true Great Dane in that she is a leaner/ velcro dog. Be sure the bathroom door is latched behind you or you will be having a guest. She is happy with our other dogs, both male and female. She is getting better all the time with cats too. She's pretty good on a leash but does seem to think she can decide when we stop, but once again if you are firm she submits. Basically she's very trainable but does need consistency. She's learning to sit and stay before eating and recall.
