She's searching for a forever family who's more into chilled vibes than adventure-filled weekends. She's not asking for much, just a comfy couch and a family that enjoys the simple things in life. Initially, Peaches can be a bit reserved when meeting new people. However with patience and understanding, she will warm up, and once she trusts you, her true nature comes out - she is a super sweet and lovable girl with a big personality, and she is a faithful friend to those she holds dear. She is a more alpha female, so she requires an experienced Great Dane owner who can understand and appreciate her unique needs and personality. She thrives in a household where she can be the leader of the pack, but she is wonderfully accepting of medium & large submissive dogs and even gets along well with cats. Due to a sore knee that gets a bit cranky with too much activity, Peaches needs a family that's more into movie marathons than morning jogs. She also has a sensitive stomach and can only eat lamb or beef kibble. We became aware of her dietary needs after her injury, and it was discovered that pain also upsets her digestive tract. Fortunately, with careful food restrictions and proper care, Peaches is on the mend, and her tummy has settled down. Peaches is a good girl and has so much love to give. Her combination of strength, sensitivity and sweetness makes her a remarkable addition to the right family, and she will melt your heart.
