About Lila

Please read her biography below to learn what she needs in a home placement and how to apply. We rescued 8 year old Lila from the Downey Shelter where she was owner surrendered. She was in the medical building, emaciated, and dying of Pneumonia and Canine Influenza. Her teeth were so rotten that she could not eat. She weighed 6 lbs. Fast forward 8 months to now...... she is 9lbs healthy, thriving and ready for her forever home. Lila is such a sweet little dog. She is all about her person and will love her new owner unconditionally. She wants to do everything with you, including sleep with you. Lila would love a little back yard to patrol and sunbathe in and dreams of a fireplace to lay by in the winter time. These are her two most favorite things. She is pretty much a perfect little dog in the house and has very good house manners. She is completely housebroken. She will garden with you, watch TV with you, ride in the car with you, hang out on the couch with you, nap with you..... you name it, she is interested! As long as she can be with you, that is all she needs. Her owner will be her world. We have spent over 3K fixing her all up and she is now happy and healthy! Lila can be a door darter and would appreciate children 10 and older. She would love a house with a little yard. Also, she will need a single story home, no stairs for this little girl.
