About Kim

Adoption Fee: $200
Rat Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Kim, a lively, smart, quirky, and overall delightful rat terrier mix. Kim is 2 1/2 years old, weighs 15 lbs., and is fully house-trained. When she is not jogging with her foster mom, running zoomies in the backyard, or shaking squeaky toys, you can find her snoring in her cozy bed or sleeping quietly in her crate. Kim makes her foster family laugh every day. Things Kim loves: music; most fruits or vegetables safe for dogs; any kind of human attention, including belly rubs, chin scratches, and ear massages; and training and doing tricks for treats (she has learned sit, down, go-to-place, sit pretty, shake, and roll over). Things Kim does NOT love: being pushed to do something she is not ready to do, including being touched by unfamiliar humans who have not earned her trust. She is also very selective about her canine friends. Kim was returned to New Rattitude for not getting along with the other dog in her household and for biting an adult human who failed to read Kim's signals to be left alone. Given her past history and specific preferences, Kim should go to a home with no other dogs and no children. Anyone willing to give sweet Kim a chance will find her to be a loyal companion, and they will be entertained by her antics and rewarded with her unconditional love.
