About Puppers Jax

Puppers was in training for Service Work. He didn't learn his Service Task before covid hit.Jax has basic training skills, spin & heel, slomo, whisper, sit or hand signal, lay down or hand signal, up up, wait stay or tug on leash when he is walking ahead, stay, downstay, spin if a treat to guide, bang (rolls on back), hand signal roll right, hand signal roll left, sit pretty with treat overhead but cannot balance at length, jump, back. Jax loves to smell & jumps up in lap after i eat for me to open my mouth & push out my breath for him to breathe & ani alize. He is an ESA & if you cry he will lick the eyes and cheeks to lick tears away. He will lick boo boos sometimes if you have them. Is potty trained except for a rare occasional mistake. will pee on incontinant pads with couple of pieces of cardboard placed on pad. Loves to chase Squirrels up trees or birds but did not inherit prey drive phase 4 or 5 to kill and eat. Runs like the fast wind & if in a large field will leap hops like a rabbit. Does not like to play fetch. Loves long sniff walks and loves people watching. Knows commands Quiet & Whisper. Jax sometimes has resistant moods and needs some harmless correction. Loves his bedcage with cushion, plush dog bed plus blanket, Door closed & latched for time out is very successful for correction if done longer than only a few minutes. Jax will try to escape occasionally if not enough exercise & will run in front of vehicles endangering himself. He is very quiet, but has fits when left alone -suffers separation anxiety. he has been in stores like walmart and meijers except food areas, dollar stores, gas stations, even fast food kentucky fried chicken walking through drive through, he is tolerant of lawn care & other loud machinery, has been in courthouse, elevatiors, hospital-including small gift shop, watches me get my stress test, Doctors wait room & exam room, bank, stairs, he will test to see if he can be leader if he can get by with it when in his own personal domain at home. He will lightly touch his tongue to the skin of leg or arm to say Thankyou when he feels like it. Give a high five & if gently pull on front legs and say growl then make the sound he will show teeth & growl for show. He loves to growl in anger to complain, but does not bite & has never bitten, He does not like to be teased. He goes to Church with me on Sundays, keeps totally silent in Stroller entire time & does not make one sound. He Loves to run and race. He would make a Great Diabetic Service Dog or Cardiac Alert Service Animal or even a Therapy pet or ESA to live in Nursing Home. Jax will silently watch people at Meijers while waiting inside front rain shelter while waiting on bus pickup. Puppers is totally silent on bus trips. Hes a Great Dog and I paid $100 to rescue him from terminally ill neighbor that taught him very bad manners & no training skills. He probably would have been euthanized. I have invested a small fortune plus much time in training. Puppers Jax now deserves the very best & would best be suited for a stable Family home environment free from any hoarding. He needs organized clean Home with a fenced back yard. Puppers can jump very high for his small 7 to 8 lb size & can squeeze through & under small spaces so a secure fencing enforced at bottom is needed. He is very fast. He needs another dog friend to play with that would not hurt his small body. He would need well behaved Children that would not be rough and hurt him or be neglectful. Puppers has always been used to having someone there, another friendly dog would be neccessary to keep him from lonliness & depression. He is not a toy for Children, needs a Family! I dont allow Puppers to lick all over my face like his previous owner so Puppers allows me to Kiss on his neck & cheek, he will turn the other cheek for that one too. he allows me to gently squeeze and hug him. I say ummm let me give you hugs n kisses. He Loves body massages of back sides and legs. He sometimes wears body wraps if in public to hide his privates as to not be offensive & preserve innocence of small Children. he understands 'Good Job!' and 'Do a Good Job',He understands 'Good boy dogs go on walks, bad boy dogs stay inside in the bedcage with the door shut!' he knows to go curbside potty grass only on walks, no pee pee on trees, no pee pee on bushes, he knows not to go near flowers to potty, & understands if he tests to go in a yard ''GET OUT OF PEOPLES YARDS!' he knows what the dumpster & mailbox is. Will give High Five and knows what pull is but insists on only doing it when he feels like it. Of course theres much more to Puppers. I would Love for him be fully trained as Service Dog & no fee to proper Agency that would continue to train a task(s) for Service Dog. I am a senior at risk for stroke or heart attack, This is Puppers 2nd Home. He needs a permanent one. Training Agency & or Healthy Younger Owners for his Perfect permanant home to fullfill his dreams & needs.
