About Pearl

Pearl is an absolute delight. She was rescued from a shelter after almost a year there, and was attacked by aggressive dogs. But she is lovely and gentle with all dogs, plus every adult and child she meets. She's 5 years old, 60 lbs., crate and house trained, vaccinated, microchipped. She will do best in a home where there's someone usually around, or with non-aggressive pups to keep her company. All her supplies will be included, including her crate- for use when no one is home or at bedtime if you don't prefer that she sleep on your bed. She's so gentle that an annoying puppy she currently lives with is the only one in the pack that can get away with being naughty to her- the older dogs growl but she playfully puts up with it. Pearl is mostly calm and quiet, with occasional 'zoomies' that will make you laugh. I'm a lifelong rescuer and she is one of the best, sweetest dogs I've ever worked with. Let me know what you're looking for in a dog, so I will be able to advise if she'd be a good fit. You must be willing to meet her in Wrightwood,,and if you have other dogs it's important to bring them: they will decide if it's a good match, as much as we will.
