About Diesel

Diesel is my aunts dog, she has cancer that is unfortunately worsening, and will need hospice care. She can no longer take take of Diesel because of this. Diesel is 5 years old, not neutered. He is very overweight because of my aunts health has been declining, and she hasn't been able to keep up with walking him. Diesel is going to require a LOT of patience and love. He would be the perfect dog for the right person. He is loyal once he is comfortable. However, before he's comfortable, he is very very nervous around everyone but seems to do better with women. He wouldn't do well with kids at all. We aren't sure about how he would be with other dogs or cats. He's very sweet, but just very nervous. I don't have much time to rehome him before my family has to take him to the pound and I fear it will be very difficult to rehome him from there as he would be even more scared.
