About CHOCOLATE

Her owner's reached out to us because they are unable to financially give Chocolate the care she needs and deserves. Name: Chocolate Age: Estimated age 3-4 years Breed: Bully Mix Sex: Female (not spayed) Location: Ector County, Texas Vet Info: Chocolate has not been seen by a vet. She weighs approximately 50 pounds. Dog Info: Chocolate was found in an alley and the family that found her took her in. When they found her she was unable to walk so they took her to Mexico to get her some pain medication (that was all they could afford to do) and then they reached out to various rescues and shelters and they all told the family that she would be euthanized if they took her. The family has been working hard helping her to walk, which she can do a little bit. Once she started to walk they realized she cannot see. They have not been able to take her to see a vet or an opthamologist due to financial difficulties. The family states that with all Chocolate has been through she is a great dog that is very sweet and loving. The family has small children and the mom has a service dog and Chocolate does great! Chocolate is confined to a room when the family is gone just to keep her safe but she has access to the whole house when the family is home. Chocolate is housetrained if she is let out consistently. She is not leash trained at this time. Chocolate is not aggressive in any way. Chocolate's foster mom wants you to know that she is the kindest, sweetest dog that deserves a family that will be able to provide her with proper medical care.
