About Tiny

LOCATION: Fort Worth, Texas AGE/DOB: 4 years, 11/23/2017 Tiny is not so Tiny. But his energy level is - he is happy to hang out with his people, and always ready for a walk. He can be walked only once a day and enjoys playing in the local dog park his foster sibling, Smoke. Tiny has done well with every person he's met. Zero problems, but please always insist on a calm introduction and let him approach. Tiny can be slightly dominant. He's gotten along well with Smoke and prefers to follow Smoke's lead when in new situations or environments. He also is currently living with a dog-savvy cat that he likes to groom. He does okay on the gentle leader, but likes to pull. Very triggered by other dogs barking at him but not sure how much of that is related to him being leashed. This not-so-Tiny kid is very much a cuddle bug and prefers to be always in close contact. He is very clingy and has BIG feelings. Easily gets his feelings hurt. Please be careful not to speak sharply to him. He follows his foster momma everywhere and sleeps in her bed. And when his foster momma leaves, he opens all the doors and looks for her. When Tiny is nervous, he leans on you and start to calm down. He gets a lot of comfort from his people. Tiny is not food aggressive and does not guard his food or water bowls. He was a little overprotective/ reactive to people initially but has become more trusting. He will now let men and women pet him if they are quiet and slow approaching, though he prefers the ladies. He's not a fan of kids approaching him. Tiny doesn't like new noises and will react to noises. Examples? People on bicycles; dogs that bark at him; hyper dogs. He walks well on a gentle leader, crate-trained and potty trained. He can stays out of the crate all day in the house when owners are at work with no problems. Good boy Tiny! He loves toys and loves to play tug and fetch his toys. He seems to prefer plush toys to hard toys and enjoys the occasional bully stick. When he's not playing with his toys, you can find him snuggling with them. Tiny's ideal home is a quiet & calm home, with a human companion that is home more than not. He'd love to be the center of your world but would be willing to share with a calm dog. A home with active kids is not Tiny's thing - he desires calm and quiet. Does Tiny sound like a match for you?
