Boone is our longest resident and has been here for over 400 days. He is a handsome and majestic 5-year-old male dog, a true specimen of his breed. He is a proud and powerful creature, weighing in at a solid 78 pounds, with a muscular build and a sleek, shiny coat that gleams in the sunlight. Boone has been neutered and is completely up-to-date on all his vaccinations, ensuring that he stays healthy and happy throughout his long life. Despite his imposing size, Boone is a gentle giant at heart, with a kind and loving disposition that endears him to all who meet him. He is a true lover at heart, with a passion for snuggling up with his human companions and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Whether he's lounging around the house, snoring contentedly by the fire, or playing with his favorite toys in the backyard, Boone is always happy and full of life. Boone's favorite thing in the world is spending quality time with his human family, whom he loves with all his heart. He is a loyal and faithful companion, always by his owner's side, ready to offer comfort and support whenever it is needed. Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Most dogs will be required to be spayed/ neutered before leaving shelter or an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
