About Rebel

Rebel is a dog that I found, injured. He just walked up and collapaed into my arms. I reached out to so many communities, I've been trying to find his home for months. We've now had him for about 8 months but he does not get along with my dogs, we've tried everything. I also can not financially afford another dog right now, I thought we'd find his original home by now. He is not neutered, but he is very sweet with people. He is older and mostly blind. I have not seen him around children, but he is afraid of other dogs and gets aggressive as soon as he realizes they are there. Right now he is living in a bedroom in the house. We take him out to the backyard to go potty. But he is a risk to the other animals in the house so we need to rehome him. He is partially blind and a little slow but walks well on a leash. He rides very well in the car. He is well mannered besides growling at nearby dogs. Unsure if he had obedience training, because I found him in the street. But he is well mannered and well behaved overall. He even walks well, he will hold his own leash and its super cute lol. We are able to give and remove food easily. He is still a bit underweight and I cant keep paying for vet visits. We paid for a lot of meds, and for a surgery to care for an injury he had when we found him. The surgery was about 8 months ago so he has recovered from that. He was treated at Copper Mountain Animal Hospital. Be is on no medication at this time. I don't know what to do, but I can't keep him. I feel awful taking him to the pound. He is old, but he still has some spunk and is very sweet. Please help me find this sweet old man a home to finish his days or he'll be going to the pound in the next month :(
