About Poncho Punch

These amazing ears belong to Poncho Punch, an Australian Cattledog mix. He was born in April 2022. He weighs 55 pounds. Poncho Punch has a good start on the basics: sit, circle, back, plus working on stay and leave it. He is doing well with recall. Click on the red YouTube button to watch him show off his skills. He is also house and crate trained. Poncho Punch loves people! He could be a nice family dog, though he may be too much for smaller kids. Poncho is also good with other dogs, especially those who like puppies. Older dogs will find his puppy exuberance to be too much. He needs to learn that it's not ok to get excited and jump on his dog pals. Poncho will be a good traveller. He is working on his leash skills and is good in the car, currently in a crate. Poncho is a love bug. He loves people and wants to please. He will blossom in a home with consistent reinforcement to help make training stick. He would also benefit from a home that gives him his own things to chew on. After all, he is all puppy! Poncho Punch is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Southern CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
