About BUBBA

This nice fellow has a name: BUBBA. ADR.org assumes that he is a mix of Samoyed, American Eskimo and eventually Spitz. Look at this face - his 'owner' betrayed him by abandoning him in a very rural, poor shelter in New Mexico. BUBBA is about 5 years old, neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccines. ADR.org heard about this boy and rescued him. A military pilot volunteered to transport BUBBA to CA. Bubby loves car rides, especially when he can put his nose out int the wind. Since Bubba has been living on Orcas Island, WA in the home of the founder of ADR.org. He loves female dogs, but is very compatible with calm, settled dogs. He is NOT compatible with cats displaying a very strong prey drive. BUBBA presents himself as a very calm and gentle boy that should be well placed in a home either with a female dog, a senior calm dog or be the only dog. Like most dogs coming from CA, AZ BUBBA was possibly more an outside dog and possibly is not a city dog/apartment dog and needs to feel green grass under his paw pads and will enjoy long walks. BUBBA takes his time to 'relate' to a human and to bond with a person. Almost distant but that changes once he has settled in. He just never experienced a caring owner that paid attention to him.
