Foster or Adopt! We are guessing at his breed, handsome, 12 pound, Rhett was clearly traumatized and is still very scared. He is great with dogs and he has a live in dog buddy. Rhett is very timid, gentle, submissive, and needs a patient kind calm home where he can learn to feel safe. He is especially terrified of thunderstorms. We advise no kids. We don't know about cats but likely he is fine. He is not at all aggressive. Fenced yard preferred since leash still scares him. You can really make a difference in this dog's life. Apply on CrisisDogsNC.org. Excellent vet reference and virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
