Honey was rescued from Yakima after her owners were reported multiple times for leaving her chained up in all weather without food or water. But, she doesn't seem to have any lasting behavioral issues from this. She is a high energy breed, Malinois or Dutch shepherd, that need an expert owner with training ability. She has proven to be quite clever and athletic. Agility training, protection, Search and rescue, are all possible for her. She is still a puppy and displays puppy behaviors. She does have a fear of fireworks and gun shots. She has gotten along with all the dogs I have introduced her to. She is doing well with a bike lead. An excellent hiking buddy, and loves kids. Chases bunnies and squirrels. Isn't sure about how to react to cats yet. She would do well in a home with property or a very tall fence, as she has learned to climb a 4 ft chain link one already. The adoption fee is to cover her spay surgery which will be in September. The vet has suggested she complete recovery at her fosters location since she has become comfortable here.
