About Bernie

Bernie Mac is the sweetest boy who is looking for a family who can give him the same unconditional love he offers so freely. At 65lbs of pure stockiness, Bernie is a big boy who doesn't quite know how big he is, so he wouldn't be great around kids younger than 5. He has so much affection to give because he insists he is a lap dog! Bernie is very playful and loves stuffed dog toys and treats. He has a moderate amount of energy and after a brisk walk, he likes to chill out by napping on his dog bed or in his crate. He is good with dogs and children over 5 years old. He has minimal contact with cats but the few times he's had, he was indifferent towards them. Bernie is waiting for his new family to shower with love.
