Caretaker reports 'Ventral Strabismus and Anisocoria which causes her to have limited vision at a distance, but she still lives like a dog that can see well.' Owner reports: Mellie is a blind Pitbull mix. He was rescued from a shelter by a good Samaritan who is fostering him. The foster is temporary and can not keep Mellie long term. Mellie is in need of a new home. Mellie is described as an indoor dog who is crated. She is said to be housebroken and leash trained. According to her caretaker Mellie 'knows some basic commands since her foster mom has spent some time with her.' Mellie is said to be outgoing, good with adults and children of all ages as well as other dogs.
