About Charlie

Charlie is a very loyal, smart 8 year old female. She is completely house broken and well behaved in the home. She loves to snuggle, and is the best company. Unfortunately Charlie has shown some territorial behavior and front door aggression. She recently bit a stranger who approached her on a walk. We live in a busy neighborhood, and have small children and no longer feel our home is a safe option for Charlie. She loves people, but needs to meet them within the home where she feels safe. Meeting people and other dogs outside the house, or on a leash makes her feel very threatened. Charlie is very calm in the house, and is a great companion, but also loves going on walks and adventures. She is wonderful with our older child (12)and does not mind the younger children, but would be better at a home with just adults or older kids.
