Help! FOSTER NEEDED ASAP- This poor young man was found limping as a stray and brought to the OC shelter, ID A1775587. Xrays revealed he has a fractured front limb. We are therefore looking for a foster as the shelter is asking for an immediate rescue. We need a foster who can take him asap, as well a foster for his post surgery care. A rescue group would cover his surgery costs. We are naming him Winston, he is believed to be approximately 3 years old, and weighs 55 lbs. Despite the pain he must be in, the shelter tell us he approaches the kennel face with a wagging tail. Now, we just hope someone will step up to foster and rescue him. If you can possibly help, or even donate towards his surgery costs for Charlie, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist the shelter with his placement. We would refer interested parties and fosters to a willing rescue group. He cannot be directly fostered or adopted through the shelter.
