About CARRIE

Carrie came into rescue in the fall of 2019 and recently came back to us when her mom was unable to care for her due to a major medical issue (of her human). She is around 11 years old now and 19 lbs. She walks very well on a leash and is housebroken with a dog door. She is not a fan of the crate but tolerates it. Carrie can be a little particular about her friends so would be best as an only dog and with a patient owner. Carrie loves being around people, likes cats, but not so fond of other dogs. She loves car rides and walks, and happily does 1 1/2 miles. She isn't a lap warmer, and likes attentive petting, but not mindless petting. She is 17 pounds of company, but not 'needy'.
