About Ram

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Ram is sweet and adorable and looking for a great forever home! Ram's owner could no longer care for him and was considering euthanizing him, so he came to our rescue. He loves to cuddle with a person, and is affectionate. Ram is on two different seizures medications (Keppa and Phenobarbital) which he gets 3x/day and so he needs someone home most of the time. He will need regular bloodwork at the vets. Additionally, he is not totally housebroken, and we are not sure if this is a neurological issue. He is also mostly deaf. His seizure medicine is expensive and he needs regular bloodwork to ensure his phenobarbital level is at the correct therapeutic dose. He will need to be groomed and brushed on a regular basis. He is very sweet, but timid at first, and would do best in a home with older kids. He can get playful, but usually plays with a dog bed or blanket. He is 14 years old.
