About Bonded pair

We were luckier than most. Our story started with love and the hope that we would always have a home. We had a mom that really loved us. She always told us how beautiful we were and kissed us and sometimes even bought us a toy for being so good. Mom was great. When she found me, I was only a puppy. She picked me up and I felt the warmth of love for the first time. The day she took me home was the best day of my life next to the day, I had Della. She's my puppy. My mom loved Della just as much as I did. She said watching us play together brought her pure joy. We ran together in our fenced in backyard and laid in the sun and rolled in the grass. It was bliss and then one day, as I heard happens in life, things started to change. First mom wasn't feeling well. Then as time passed she was in bed most of the time. One day she left and never came back. People came over to feed us and I heard them say she wouldn't be back. She went into hospice. I don't know what that is but I know they must stop people from leaving there because otherwise she would have come home to us. We never saw her again and we were so sad and scared. One day mom's brother came and put us in the car. I thought he was taking us to her but he took us to a place where there were other dogs just like us who had no one left to take care of them. It was a terrible place. I tried to act brave for Della but I was so frightened. Nothing good can happen there. Thank God we didn't stay there for too long. A nice lady came and took us out of there. She said she was going to help us find another place to live where someone would love us again. We really need a forever home together as soon as possible. Like I said Della is my puppy. I'm 3 years old and Della is 6 months old. We're terrier mixes who are very lovable and smart. We are two orphans now who need a home. Please share our story and help us find a home again. Scarlett and her Puppy, Della lost the only home they ever knew when their owner went into hospice and they had no one to care for them. Scarlett dotes on her puppy and right now, all they have from their past life where they were so loved, is each other. Scarlet is a sweetheart. She loves snuggling and getting attention. She enjoys hanging out with people where she can get as much attention as she can. She will need a little help learning how to walk on a leash. She tests well with other dogs and was non-reactive with cats. Della is much like her mama. They are well socialized and sweet. She will need a little help learning how to walk on a leash.
