About Lita

Lita is a lovely, sweet girl. She is currently in a loving home, but there is one huge issue: they have another dog, and Lita does not get along with other dogs. The family really needs to rehome Lita as they also have children, and they are concerned they might get in the way if Lita acts on feelings of jealousy for their other dog. In all other respects, Lita is a wonderful dog. She is six years old, has been spayed, is heartworm negative and is on preventive, is house trained, crate trained, and has some obedience training. She loves to play outside and would make a wonderful companion for someone in need of lots of puppy kisses. Her family is quite brokenhearted that they cannot keep her, but they really hope to find a home where she can flourish and give someone all the love she has to offer. The family also reports that Lita is good with cats if there is no other dog around. She is also great with kids, but at 75 pounds she may be a bit too big and unaware of her size to live with really young children.
