About Thiea

She's been dumped out in the country. Was fed by a family for a few months & then left behind when they moved along with another dog. We are still looking for a home for Thiea. Thiea is a 3 to 5 year old Pointer/ Lab mix. She is housebroken, is working on leash manners & crate trained. She is interested in hunting, points at birds & rabbits & would love to be your new best friend. She gets along with other animals, but likes to be the one in charge. Due to having been abandoned twice by different famines she is food protective & will need separated during feeding time so she feels secure & doesn't steal others food. I do not know if she's spayed but she does need shots. Adoption fee is the cost of gas for us to meet somewhere for a meet & greet with you & any other dogs/pets you have to ensure they are going to get along as this girl has had enough heartbreak in her life. If she's still with me in April she will be vetted & adoption fee will reflect that. She eats 2.5 cups of good quality dog food a day, so if you can't afford $60 a month for food & $100 for her vetting each year. This is not the dog for you. She also needs a fenced in potty area. Chains/ tie outs don't work & neither does an invisible fence (if she sees something she wants a little shock won't phase her.) So adoption fee (gas price will depend on market price & distance to bring her for the meet & greet). She's 22 inches tall at the shoulder & weighs at least 45 lbs. I will ask questions of all potential adopters to ensure she would go to a good home.
