About Zeus

RESOURCE GUARDING (but young and trainable!): Zeus is the best one-blue ~ one-brown eyed Siberian Husky ever - in URGENT need to find new home among Alpha owner(s). He loves exercise and adventures where he can be kept safe - long runs on the beach, hikes in the forest, walks in Central Park (he loves NYC & is unafraid of anything around), swims in pools (lifelong bonus for your & his summer times), Long Island boat rides (He's fearless at the helm! Please watch him!). Zeus chills and sleeps upside-down all day if he gets in daily morning exercise, as he wakes up with you at 6am. He loves romps with other dogs, and can be left alone throughout the workday as he's wonderfully housebroken. Zeus CANNOT live with small children or large family groups with many visitors (unless he has an established responsible, point person - then, he's fine). He grew up with a cat (but they argued a lot). He needs a FIRM forever home as he is a typical dominant talkative male Husky who will bully anyone if they allow it or are afraid of him. Zeus would do best with someone who can give him one-on-one attention, kisses & belly rubs. Zeus cannot be caged, boarded, or crated, outside of his own travel crate (which he adores), and CANNOT end up in a Shelter or with an intermediate family. His current family is distraught and will only let him go to his forever home. Zeus knows German dog obedience commands and is well-behaved when well-cared for by his immediate human pack. Fully fenced yard required, not an invisible fence, or adequate land (he is also a predatory-type Nordic breed so squirrels & birds will get a run from their money; loves to stalk & jump up on you!). New owner(s) will be blessed with this good boy's long life as he's only two, deeply loved, and just wants to establish trust & consistency among his humans.
