About Minnie

Location: San Antonio, Texas AGE: 5yrs Meet Minnie! This poor girl was found as a stray after obviously being used for breeding. She was very underweight and fending for herself. And to boot she was covered in ticks. An amazing group of people stepped up to help trap her and get her to safety, and Minnie was immediately grateful! Even with that horrible backstory, this girl is perfect! Let us tell you why: Minnie is very affectionate ��%BD%9D%A4��%BD��%BD%8F she thinks she's a lap dog Her temperament is great. She has done well with all the dogs she has met, whether they are submissive or dominant. She plays well with hardcore players or gentle players She isn't too energetic. She gets random bursts of energy that last 15-20 minutes then she's out for hours ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD Overall Minnie is fairly mellow with random bits of energy MINNIE LOVES KIDS OF ALL AGES. She is currently living with a 16 month old and an autistic 3.5 year old and she is great. Minnie is great with everyone. She loves tennis balls and squeaky toys a lot! She will play fetch So far Minnie hasn't shown any dislikes. She adapts very well when needed. Minnie is incredibly affectionate. Minnie swears she's 10lbs, she will try to get in your lap every chance she gets. Who doesn't love a giant lap dog? Training you ask? Minnie walks well on a leash. She's potty trained. We had a few accidents the first few days but she learned quick. 100% kennel trained; she will not try to break out of the crate. At this time she does resource guard her food (see her backstory? She has good reason to guard her food!). She is fed in her in her kennel. She has no issues having treats passed out in a group setting. Can share a water bowl and has no toy aggression. Not sure if she has ever met feline friends. So what is this sweet girl looking for in her forever home? She would like a home with lots of soft places to lounge - she loves her big beds. She wants a family that will give her all the loves and hugs. She deserves a home that will love her endlessly.
