About Burke

Hi! I'm Burke and I am one seriously handsome gentleman, even with no eyes! That's right, you read it correctly, I have no eyes. They had to be removed because they did not work and were very painful. I am now blind but pain free which makes life soooo much nicer. That being said, I need a home with no (or few) stairs and I prefer the company of adults and other chill dogs. Kids and rambunctious dogs can startle me and I am just looking to relax in my golden years. I am working on my fitness as I have what my foster Mom likes to call a 'chonky belly'. I spent my whole life with my previous owner until they passed away which is when I ended up in the shelter. I've been through a lot of change and I am looking for a confident leader who will show me that there is nothing to worry about...plus, I am an Aussie who may just boss you around if you don't set the rules for me.
