About Tex

Meet Tex, also affectionately known as Tex Mex, Texi Rex, Rex or Mr Tex. We pulled this handsome face from a very overcrowded animal control - space had to be made one way or another, and Tex was out of time. To make his story even more hearbreaking, Tex came to animal control with a microchip, but his owner never responded to their many attempts to contact them. Tex sat and waited for weeks wondering when someone would come. We couldn't let that be the end for him, so here he is! He's such an appreciative boy and loves napping in the ac, does amazing in a crate and is even good for baths! So far, he seems to be non-reactive to other dogs (we will do some dog testing once he's had a chance to decompress a bit), but we do no feline friends are a no for Tex.
