About Sanibel

Sanibel was part of a litter of 8 puppies who an 'oops' litter. Mom has since been spayed so this won't happen again. Sanibel is a sweet, playful gal who gets along with dogs & cats and LOVES kids. She was not able to come to OSCAR at the same time as her siblings because she developed an autoimmune problem called 'puppy strangles' which causes swelling and inflammation of the skin. Sanibel received excellent care in a foster home and vet, receiving laser treatments and special baths as well as medication. She is now all healed up, spayed and ready to find her new family. Sanibel is about 13 weeks old and 13 pounds. Please help Sanibel find the loving home she deserves. Side fun fact - the puppies are named after beaches! All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
