About Mateo

Hello there! My name is Mateo my foster mom like to call me Teo for short! I like to follow her around and make sure I'm not missing out on anything she's doing. I listen well to commands/re-direction and hope for a family that will give me daily exercise so I can be the best dog I can be. I am good with dogs but would be best suited with a dog that is the same play level as me. No kitty cats for me though. I am a 3 year old, Shepherd mix, neutered, male who weighs approximately 65 pounds. I am house and crate trained. I am up to date on vaccines and preventatives. I did have yucky heartworms and have been successfully treated. I would do best in a home with an experienced 'packleader' owner. I am being fostered in Dillsburg, PA waiting on furever ��ժ We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
