About Looking for quiet home

Just look at those eyes. This poor soul does not understand why he is in a shelter surrounded by barking dogs instead of home with his family. Meet Gus, an approximately 10 yr old adorable Bassett/Lab mix He weighs 25 lbs. He is so cute. His personality is starting to come out. When the staff member opens his gate to take him to the front, he gets so excited. Then he has this cocky little walk when he runs to the front office. His BIGGEST wish is to find an easy-going and above all loving retirement home where he can cuddle up next to his owner, go on walks in beautiful Colorado and never have to worry about being abandoned ever again. Can you make his wish come true? He is quickly learning his surroundings and routine at the shelter even though he seems to be hard of hearing. We are looking for a low key home for him.
