About Triscuit

Meet Triscuit! This handsome little devil recently joined our rescue after he found himself at a local shelter as a stray. He was not reclaimed by his family, so we can only guess at his past. Triscuit is estimated to be approx 3-4 years old. He may be some sort of lhasa-poo type mix and weighs approx 17 lbs. He was at first very reactive to some handling in the shelter (ie when new people would try to lift him up or the vet staff tried to vaccinate him) and he certainly did not appreciate being groomed by us. But if you give him some patience and kind words (and lots of peanut butter) he really does want to make new friends and can be incredibly sweet. We can only imagine how stressful all these changes and new people and environments have been for him. Because of this we will not be placing Triscuit with young children at the moment.
