Hi, I'm Fenway! I'm a purebred 3 month old blue merle Cockapoo that was owner surrendered to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. I have those papers people talk about all the time that outline how special my mom and dad are. Based on information in my papers, my rescue is guessing I will be around 15 lbs when I grow up. My original owner purchased me for an outrageous price and when they realized they couldn't keep me, they decided to surrender me to a rescue instead of 'selling' me. They wanted to help a rescue because they were heartbroken when they found that I came from a puppy mill and they wanted to make sure my new owners were fully researched so I would find a good forever home. My adoption fee is higher than a typical 'rescue' fee as I'm told I'm a highly desirable dog and it is a fraction of what my original owner paid for me. As my original owner desired, my adoption fee will go directly to benefit dogs less fortunate than me. It will help pay vet bills for major medical cases my rescue has recently taken on. Please DO NOT email my rescue regarding my adoption fee...if you are curious, go to their facebook or instagram page to see all of the not easily adoptable dogs they are helping with significant major medical issues that translate into significant vet bills. My adoption applications will be strictly vetted and my adopter will be contractually bound to spay me by the age of 6 months (included in adoption fee at one of my rescue's local vets) or my rescue will require me to be surrendered back, absolutely no exceptions!
