We adopted Rowan from a gentleman who lived on 5 acres of land in Campo, CA. She lived with him and his wife, along with their little dog and had very little socialized with other people or animals. We have not attempted to introduce her to others dogs. Rowan is a sweet, silly girl that loves to patrol her property. She would thrive with someone who lives in a rural area with lots of land to roam and protect. She is a lab/heeler mix about 2.5 years old and enjoys sitting on her porch bathing in the sunshine. She has been through obedience training and knows several commands. She loves the person that walks her, and she walks very lady like on her leash. She has bursts of energy and does zoomies in the yard, but she is also content taking afternoon naps. She is crate trained and prefers to sleep in her crate at night. She needs soft introductions to new people and would do best with women only. It didn't take long for her to warm up to me but since October 2021, she has become more aggressive towards my husband and nothing we have tried has worked. She is current on her shots and is microchipped.
