Pretty little Daya is a twelve year old, eight pound Yorkie, who was an owner surrender at a shelter. While we don't know her previous situation, we can tell she was a beloved pet. In her foster home she has adapted well, enjoying walks, the yard, rides in the car, and eating whenever possible. She gets along well with the foster family dog. She navigates three stories of a split-level home, always wanting to be near her people. Daya will do best in a home with someone retired or working from home as she needs let out to potty during the day. I would say that she's mostly housebroken but still needs a little work. She is good over night but needs let out first thing in the morning. There was no exposure to small children in the foster home but did well with teenagers. Her foster is working on housebreaking. Daya was recently adopted and returned. She did not get along with the family dog and cat. So she would do best as an only dog or with a low energy dog. Daya does have chronic severe dry eye that needs medication twice a day. She is otherwise a sweet little nugget just looking for her new family!
