About Petey

The perfect gentleman, Prince Petey. Petey has shown that he can keep his crate clean and hasn't had any house accidents. He loves playing with dogs his size that are fun players with mid energy. He has learned the routine of his fosters house and easily goes out with the resident dogs and his friend Peaches. Petey is a 2 year old, neutered Hound mix that weighs in at 36 lbs (with a little weight to gain). We know initially in his home, he will be shy and needing patience. While he is absolutely the sweetest and doesn't have a mean bone in his body, fast paced toddlers/babies that have not learned boundaries may be too much for him. Petey has shown some signs of abuse by a shock collar and cannot wait to learn what true love really means. He is current with vaccines and fostered in Harrisburg, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
