About Ruby-Sue

Ruby is a sweet beautiful 3-yr-old girl who needs a better home than ours. Mom was a Beagle and Dad was a Boxer. We were looking for a Boxer (our preferred) just after Covid hit, but couldn't find one, so we thought we'd try this mix...but this girl is definitely all Beagle. I know she will make some lucky Beagle-lover very happy. :) Ruby was 1-1/2 yrs old when we rescued her from an owner who had 5 dogs and was sending Ruby to the dog pound if no one responded to their add. She has been a joy in our home in many ways, but try as we may, we are just not Beagle people. She is spayed, house broken and is utd on all vaccines. She is a girl who definitely needs to be with her 'pack'. Ruby has the classic white feet and white tip on her tail. She is very vocal and sounds like an hyena when she is trying to tell you something. She welcomes us in the morning like a dancing bear with outstretched arms. She is very entertaining. She can't sleep at night unless she has a cover over her. We throw a beach towel over her in her dog bed, beside our bed. She wakes us up to recover her when she uncovers herself.:)
