About Penny

Adoptions are scheduled by appointment only after an application has been filled out and approved. If you are interested in adopting, please download an adoption application from our website TORescue.org. Please do not visit any shelters or rescue groups prior to coming into ours. We do this to keep our animals healthy and diseases from entering our rescue. Penny was living outdoors and she was pregnant in Mexico. She had been abused and neglected for a very long time and this wasn't her first litter. Our rescue was contacted by another rescue to help Penny. We brought her to our rescue and she had four beautiful puppies. Her puppies have all been adopted. She gets along great with all the dogs at the rescue and the cats. She is playful and very smart. It's taken us quite some time to get her to trust us. But she immediately is drawn to other animals. She needs a family that is willing to give her time to acclimate and trust. Animals like penny get overlooked all the time. But she is just as loving and wonderful as any other animal.
