About Baxter

Baxter, a 4 year old, 25 pound mixed breed, came to us as a very nervous and frightened boy from a local shelter. It has taken several weeks, but he is really starting to show his true personality now. Don't overlook those scared pups at the shelter! He has recently learned how to play with toys, loves all sizes and ages of dogs, and gets super excited when his foster mom gets home from work! He adores ear scratches, belly rubs and makes for an excellent lap dog. Baxter's least favorite thing is the leash- he sits down and refuses to move. His foster parents have been working with him but he will need a fenced in yard to keep him safe. He is a teddy bear and kind of looks like one too.
