Cuzco has really come around, manners wise, since he was surrendered at NC Shelter back in Oct., 2021. This sweet brown brindle, eight-year-old (almost nine) has shown Volunteers you can teach an older dog new tricks. The neutered, 97-pounder is mostly invisible inside his kennel, surrounded by so many other dogs. But, once out in the yard, he loves running, rolling around on the grass and seeking affection. Pays little or no attention to other dogs. One volunteer calls him a 'gentle soul,' who may have given up on getting re-homed. (Not if we can help it!) If you're looking for a sweet guy to become your bff, come meet up with CUZCO at North Central.Like all adopted dogs, he'll just need time to decompress and learn to trust. But he has so much potential!
