About Arya

Casually putting Arya up for adoption. Not in a hurry to adopt her out and I will be picky with whom she goes to. She is a purebred German Shepherd Dog and is 1 yr, 3 months old. She came to me from a backyard breeder who didnt want her anymore after she refused to let their studs mate with her. When she first came to me she was underweight and had overgrown nails and fleas and was not even housebroken. The person who had her before me kept her strictly outdoors and hardly interacted with her. She is now fully housebroken and knows how to sit and is developing good house manners. She is healthy and loves going to the dog park and walks well on a leash. She is fully vaccinated and on all preventatives. She has been living with my other two dogs and my two cats and my guinea pig. The reason I am looking to rehome her is because it is becoming increasingly difficult to give her the exercise and mental stimulation that she needs. I live in an apartment and three dogs in a one bedroom apartment has just become too much for me. She will need further training as she tends to jump up on people she likes and has a tendency to knock little kids over when moving around the home. Her ideal home would be someone who has German Shepherd experience or someone with a fenced in yard or acreage that can give her lots of exercise.
