About Hank

Hank is about 4 years old. His bottom front teeth are worn, but the rest are good, and white! Hank is good with other dogs, a true heeler off leash, no worries! And rides great in the van. He likes to carry around his rubber bone, and chew on cow hooves. Completely house broken without benefit of dog door. You can trust Hank in your home, he doesn't touch your stuff! Hank prefers men I think. He would love a good 'ol boy owner! But he tolerates me... well he follows me everywhere so he more than tolerates me. But when a man is here, he acts like a goofy pup rubbing his back up against the guy. It's really funny to see. Hank misses his male owner. They were perfect together, but Hank was relegated to being mostly with the wife. And it wasn't a good situation. We originally posted (Owen, now Hank) and he was saved/adopted from his deadline to die at SEACCA. It turned out not to be a great fit, so we've brought him into rescue and we'll find him a great home. Hank is neutered, and current on vaccinations. I have a feeling he is just fine with cats. He's so obedient. Hank needs someone who knows heelers. He doesn't need a lot of unearned affection or attention, he just wants to be with you. Be your shotgun rider and buddy. But he's very accepting when he has to stay home.
