This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. My name is Rico, and I'm three years old. I'm brown and white/brindle and I weigh 65 pounds. I've been in and out of North Central Shelter for most of my life, after my owner surrendered me in 2020 for 'Moving'. I had some rough days at the Shelter in the beginning - I snapped and growled and earned a difficult reputation. But in the past year, I've become somewhat of a model Shelter Resident. I love going out with volunteers for play-time, which must include fetch (I'm a master) and some dips in the pool. I started off on the wrong paw, but I'm more grown up now. Even so, I can only be adopted if RESCUED first. SO please Rescue Me, so I can meet my forever person and get on with a good dog's life. Ask for Rico, please.
