About POPPI

Meet Adoptable POPPI! Poppi is a fun, energetic & lovable, little Chihauhau mix. He loves his people & likes to cuddle & be covered up with his blanket! Poppi will make someone the very best buddy! Poppi also loves his playtime and loves to play ball! When he is playing, he barks with happiness. Poppi can be a resource toy protector & hoarder but will give up his ball when another toy is offered as a trade. Poppi will stand for a treat or will jump for it. Poppi would do well with being the only dog because he likes all the attention & can be a bit dominant with his toys. He lives very well with cats! Poppi would do well in a family with older, gentle children and cats. Poppy is very small & could easily escape through very small gaps in fences. He should never be left unattended due to his size. Poppi needs a home that's caring, patient and provides comfort when he gets scared. All you have to do if pick him up! Poppi loves to be bathed, groomed & swaddled like a baby! He tolerates his nails being ground with a grinder as long his head is covered during the process. Poppi is very comfortable free roaming in the house and likes to lay on the back of the couches or cuddle on your lap. Poppi weighs 7.6 lbs, is 5 yrs old, neutered, Heartworm negative, microchipped, crate trained & is 98% potty trained. His potty success is just a matter of getting him on a schedule and leash walking him. He absolutely loves his walks & leash walking for is recommended for his potty time.
