About BERNARD

BERNARD was found as a stray dog and picked up by the Calexico, CA Animal Control. BERNARD is a handsome boy who absolutely adores people. Due to Bernard's strength and love he has a hard time getting adopted out. BERNARD needs an Alpha owner who will not let him get away with anything and that can correct him, because BERNARD thinks that he's a lap dog and wants to lay on you all the time. BERNARD likes to push buttons and see what he can get away with, so being stern when needed is a must or he will walk all over you. BERNARD is large and in charge!!! His best friend is a female Rottweiler named Juicy. The two found love since they have been inseparable for months and enjoy laying on each other like a couple. Please give this big giant hunk a home and family of his own. Last year he spent all the major holidays at the pound and we hope this year will be his year.
