Poor Allie is been in foster home for 9 month now with no luck of finding a permanent home... Allie is a 'walrus', a mix between sharpei and Bassett. She is 3 y.o. puppy mill release. At first she was hiding from all, barking. But now she is totally in love with her foster mom and follows her everywhere, doing zoomies. Allie is potty trained, leash trained, crate trained, spayed, chipped, had shots. She gets alone with most dogs except of female Mastiff, but I think Allie is just intimidated by her X- Large 172 lbs size. Allie has a high prey drive so absolutely no cats or small animals, preferably no small dogs either to be safe. She loves male and female pits in foster home and plays a lot with them. She plays rough, she is a very strong dog. Her ideal home would be someone who is familiar with sharpei breed, no kids (barks in them constantly), no cats, 30+ lbs male dog, large secure yard to run and play in, quiet life style. She prefers women over men. Allie will need a strong handler, she is stubborn and very strong dog but she is an angel with her foster mom. She needs a chance...
