About Dallas

Dallas is ~7 months old, ~50 pounds, adopted from a shelter but proving to be too high energy for our family. He's been pretty good with our two chihuahua-cross older dogs (is respectful of the oldest and plays with the youngest) but tends to overpower them, thus is not the best fit for them. I keep him in a crate but I would not say he's 'trained' for that. He hates it; wants to be with us all the time. He's learned some commands and is still learning. He loves to fetch the ball, when we make time to throw it for him. He chews a lot but mostly on toys now as he's not left loose in the house when we leave. He needs more exercise and training than we have time to give him. Would make a great companion for a single person or couple, with one or no other dogs, who is/are active outdoors and can keep him busy!
